Kerala Law Entrance Examination (KLEE)

Kerala Law Entrance Examination test is conducted by Commissioner for Entrance Examinations, Government of Kerala, in order to provide admission to the candidates, who desire to pursue career in law stream. The test is conducted for programs offered in the field of legal education, at undergraduate and postgraduate level.

Important Dates for both 3 and 5 year LLB Course:

Three year LLB course
Online Registration 20th june to 02nd july, 5 pm
Last date for receipt of print out of application 03rd july till 5 pm
Admit cards availability from 12th july
Exam date 22nd july from 10.00 am to 1.00 pm


Five year LLB course
Online Registration 5th june onward to 18th june
Last date for receipt of print out of application 19 june till 5 pm
Admit cards availability from 27th june
Exam date 08th july

    • LLM (2 year)

Eligibility :

For 5-Year LLB Course :Intermediates in any streams or equivalent from Kerala State Board or any other recognized Board can apply for the test.They should have scored 40% marks in the 10+2 examination.

For 3-year LLB coourse :Pass in Graduate from any discipline with 40% aggregate marks is the pre-requisite criteria to attend the test.

For 2 year :Application should have completed the 3 or 5 year LLB course from a law institute, which is approved by the UGC and Bar Council of India so as to eligible to apply for the test.

 Exam Format :

    • 200 Multiple Choice Questions from subjects General Knowledge, English and Aptitude for Legal Studies.

Duration of paper:   3 hours.

Candidates can apply online through official website www.cee.kerala.gov.in of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations.

Application Fees :

    • Rs. 600/- for General Categories
    • Rs. 300/- for SC/ST categories
